No matter if you’re an experienced foxhunter or just trying it out for the first time, we are happy to show you a good time in the field or at our hunt breakfasts.
Every discipline is welcome, and there is a spot here for every level of experience.
Membership is not only for hunting days. By joining, you become an integral part of the traditions of our community while investing in the future of our Hunt.

Guests
Curious about hunting with Salt Marsh Hounds? Guests can join us for a day in the field. (Also known as Capping in.) Get a taste of the chase and see what it’s like to ride to hounds with a group of other enthusiasts. English and Western riders are all welcome.
Capping Fee $50 (Adults) / $25 (Juniors)
Guess what? Your first two caps are on the house. After that, guests are invited to cap in 3 more times with a fee (for 5 total) before being required and encouraged to join. All prior cap fees are credited toward Membership.
Riding Membership
For those who want to spend their time in the tack, our riding members can ride all season, join every hunt and event, and are the heart of our Hunt.
Single Member $1000
Family Membership (with Children up to 22 yrs) $1500
Single Young Adult (23-28 yrs) $500
Junior ( <22 years of age) $350
Auxiliary (Full member of nearby hunt) $700
Social Membership
Social Members are invited to join us for hunt breakfasts (tailgates), parties, and special events — staying right in the action with no riding required.
Social members, who’d also like to ride, receive an additional complimentary cap with their membership.

Founding members enjoy all of the benefits of regular membership, while making an extra contribution to our hounds, the Hunt, and our future.
Silver $2500
Silver Founders receive an exclusive Founders pin and single hunt membership for one year. This includes complimentary capping for the year for the Silver Founder’s professional groom.
Gold $5000
Gold Founders receive an exclusive Founders pin, Honorary colors, and complimentary catered breakfasts / special event fees for one year. All in addition to a single membership and complimentary capping for the year for the Gold Founder’s professional groom.
