Our memberships are designed to welcome riders, social supporters, families, and first-time guests alike. From crisp mornings in the saddle to leisurely hunt breakfasts, social gatherings, and volunteer days, membership is about far more than fox hunting—it's about becoming part of a community that shares a love of horses, hounds, conservation, and fellowship.

We believe fox hunting should be accessible, which is why payment plans are available on request and all guest cap fees can be applied toward membership should you decide to join us.

Early Membership Pricing through Sept 1st

Membership dues for the 2026–2027 season will increase by approximately 20%. As a thank you to Members who renew or join early, the discounted rates shown beloware availablefor memberships paid in full by September 1, 2026.

After Sept 1, the updated rates will be published below. Members who request a payment plan for their dues may not receive Early Bird pricing.

Riding Membership

For those who want to spend their time in the tack, our riding members can ride all season, join every hunt and event, and are the heart of our Hunt.

Single Member $1000

Family Couple One Riding and One Social / Non-riding member $1350

Family Membership Spouse riding members or Couple with Children up to 22 yrs $1500

Young Adult 23-28 yrs $500

Junior <22 years of age $350

Social Membership

Social Members are invited to join us for hunt breakfasts (tailgates), parties, and special events — staying right in the action with no riding required.

Social Members are welcome to join us in the field by capping in at the current guest cap rate and may cap a maximum of three (3) times per season before upgrading to a Riding Membership.

Curious about hunting with Salt Marsh Hounds? Guests can join us for a day in the field. (Also known as Capping In) to get a taste of the chase and see what it’s like to ride to hounds. English and Western riders in any tidy attire are all welcome.

Capping Fees

$100 (Adults) / $25 (Juniors)

Guests are invited to cap in three times for a fee before being required and encouraged to join. All prior cap fees are credited toward Riding Membership.

Additional fees apply for all High Holy Hunting Days.

Please note, Cap fees are waived for Juniors who are members of the United States Pony Club or who are junior members in good standing at another Hunt.
